yarraReporter will be launched

A civic journalism website showcasing stories by public housing estate residents about issues that interest and affect them will be launched tomorrow. Infoxchange Australia’s yarraReporter website features articles produced by housing estate residents within the City of Yarra, who have been trained in civic journalism. yarraReporter is an initiative to build skills, capacity, social contribution and leadership, to create social change through community activities, civic journalism training and the publication of news stories.

Infoxchange Australia’s yarraReporter website features articles produced by housing estate residents within the City of Yarra, who have been trained in civic journalism.

Cr Amanda Stone, the Mayor of the City of Yarra to launch the website at 10AM, at ICT Learning Centre, 90 Brunswick St, Fitzroy.

yarraReporter is an initiative to build skills, capacity, social contribution and leadership, to create social change through community activities, civic journalism training and the publication of news stories.
