Don't get stung' Bee in the know @ Beaware
'Beaware', is primarily for young people (14-25 years) and their families, and contains information regarding alcohol and other licit and illicit drugs. The website aims to outline the risks and effects of various drugs, harm minimisation techniques including what a standard drink is, first aid, safe parties, safe sex, where to get help, emergency contacts and so forth. There will also be other youth-related activities on the website such as games and quizzes. Beaware was developed in 2003/2004 as a result of a $20,000 funding grant. The grant was primarily for use as a way of informing young people about standard drinks however the website has grown into much more than that. Through consultation with over 100 young people, a website and wallet card were designed and launched in April 2004. Don't get stung' Bee in the know @ Beaware http://www.beaware.org.au/
