With a wide range of group fitness classes, including Freestyle classes, Boxing classes, Cycle and the world renowned Les Mills programs to choose from you are spoiled for choice.. The classes are spread throughout the day to suit any busy lifestyle. They provide a fun and social atmosphere while working out with our motivational team of instructors.

Cycle

The ever popular cycle class is an indoor program which will develop your cardiovascular capacity. Burning up to 800 calories in one 45-minute session it’s no wonder it holds such a strong presence within our clubs. It’s one of the safest ways to exercise with no impact. If its body fat that you would like to reduce then Cycle is the class for you.

Yoga

This is a system of exercises which help your control of the body and mind. It also improves your strength, breathing and focuses the alignment of your body. It's a fabulous stress release that will leave you feeling amazing. It is aimed at integrating mind, body and spirit to enhance health and well-being.

Pilates

This is a class consisting of gentle exercises done on a mat in either a standing, sitting or lying down position. The primary focus is on awareness of the spine, proper breathing, core strength and flexibility. The outcome of Pilates training is a balanced body which is strong and supple, flat stomach, balanced legs, and a strong back.

Freestyle

This variety of classes, cover all classes containing the instructors own routines, with Level 3 Fitness NSW Certification in Group Exercise Prescription. They cover a wide range of classes such as Aerobics (Fat buster), Step, Cycle, Pilates & Yoga. Classes are professionally designed to keep you entertained with new music & routines; as well as fit

Les Mills

Les Mills Classes are an excellent series of pre-choreographed classes designed by Les Mills an elite Olympic athlete. They draw on the latest trends in music & their instinctive understanding of what constitutes a great work out. They are guided by the latest developments in exercise science & professionals throughout the world. These classes are known as the BODY-series, such as BODYPUMP & BODYATTACK.

Koorie Stories and Songs

elebrate Reconciliation week at the Fitzroy Library (128 Moor Street) with a night of Koorie stories and songs.

Aboriginal singer-songwriters will perform amongst the books in this free event that will celebrate music, story and the spirit of reconciliation.

This free event will take place on Wednesday 30 May from 6.30pm-8pm.

Emerging QandA

Based on the popular TV show Q&A, Emerging QandA is a political commentary chat show presented live at the Fitzroy Town Hall’s Reading Room (201 Napier Street).

Showcasing future voices to watch in the arena of political writing and commentary, our five panellists have diverse interests and experience, and are ready to engage in public debate on the issues of the day.

This free event will take place on Tuesday 29 May from 7.30pm – 8.30pm.
